Montgomery, James
(1882-1966)
   Born in New York City, he acted for 12 years in stock companies and on Broadway, notably in The Fortune Hunter (1909) with John Barrymore. He then turned to playwriting and producing. His plays included The Aviator (1910), Ready Money (1912), Nothing But the Truth (1910), and the musical Irene (1919).
